“Oh,” you say, “I cannot expect the God the Father to love me in the way He loves the Son, Jesus Christ?”
But that is exactly what Jesus expects. Jesus prayed just before His arrest, trial, and crucifixion:
“I have made you known to them, and will continue to make you known in order that the love you have for me may be in them and that I myself may be in them.” John 17:26
Jesus wants you to know that you are loved with the same love that flows between God the Father and God the Son.
How much does God love you? He is totally in love with you.
