At times, our walk with Christ is bright and full of light. Other parts of the path are dark and difficult. Richard Rohr suggests that the place of shadows offers deep and lasting new life in Christ:
“Religious energy is in the dark questions, seldom I the answers. Answers are the way out. Answers are not what we are here for. When we look for answers, we’re looking to change the pattern. When we look at the questions, we look for the opening to transformation.”
